Make this easy Taco Pizza featuring seasoned ground beef, cheese, and a crunchy corn chip topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pizza crust (12 inch)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed corn chips (like Fritos or tortilla chips)
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning mix and water. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid reduces.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the pizza sauce with the chili powder and cumin. Spread this sauce evenly over the pizza crust.
  5. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Spoon the cooked taco meat mixture evenly over the cheese layer.
  7. Top the meat with the remaining mozzarella cheese and all of the cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove the pizza from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the crushed corn chips over the hot cheese.
  10. Top with diced tomatoes, black olives, and green onions. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey for ground beef.
  • For extra flavor, mix a small amount of taco seasoning directly into the pizza sauce before spreading.
  • Use any sturdy corn chip you prefer for the topping crunch.
