Make this easy, non-alcoholic Strawberry Mojito Mocktail. It combines fresh strawberries, mint, lime, and sparkling water for a perfect summer drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 8 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 fresh lime, cut into 4 wedges
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup (or to taste)
  • 1 cup club soda or sparkling water, chilled
  • Ice cubes
  • Extra strawberry slices and mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the halved strawberries, mint leaves, and lime wedges into a sturdy glass.
  2. Add the simple syrup to the glass.
  3. Gently muddle the ingredients together. Press down firmly enough to release the juices from the strawberries and lime, and the oils from the mint, but do not shred the mint leaves.
  4. Fill the glass completely with ice cubes.
  5. Top the mixture with the chilled club soda or sparkling water.
  6. Stir gently from the bottom up to combine the flavors without losing the fizz.
  7. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and a strawberry slice on the rim. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a sweeter drink, use strawberry simple syrup instead of plain simple syrup.
  • If you prefer a less fizzy drink, substitute half the club soda with still water.
  • Use frozen strawberries if fresh ones are unavailable; allow them to thaw slightly before muddling.
