- 2 oz Vodka
- 0.5 oz Fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz Raspberry syrup (or 4-5 fresh raspberries muddled)
- 4-6 oz Ginger beer (chilled)
- Garnish: Fresh lime wedge and fresh raspberries
- If using fresh raspberries, place them in the bottom of a copper mug. Muddle them gently to release the juice.
- Add the vodka and fresh lime juice to the mug.
- Fill the mug completely with ice.
- Top with chilled ginger beer.
- Stir gently to combine the ingredients without losing too much carbonation.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and a few fresh raspberries on a pick.
Notes
- For a sweeter drink, increase the raspberry syrup slightly.
- For a spicier drink, use a ginger beer with a higher ginger content.
- If you do not have raspberry syrup, muddling 4-5 fresh raspberries works well.
- This drink is traditionally served in a copper mug to keep it cold.
