Ingredients
Scale
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
2 tablespoons pizza sauce
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Separate the dough into 8 triangles.
Spread about 1/2 teaspoon of pizza sauce onto the wide end of each triangle.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and top with 4-5 mini pepperoni slices on top of the sauce.
Starting at the wide end, tightly roll each triangle toward the point. Pinch the seams to seal the edges.
Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the tops of the rolls lightly with the beaten egg. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
You can use pre-made pizza dough instead of crescent rolls; roll it thin and cut into rectangles before filling.
For air fryer cooking, cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 10 minutes, checking halfway through for even browning.
Make ahead: Assemble the rolls, place them on a baking sheet, cover, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking. Add 2-3 minutes to the bake time if cooking straight from the refrigerator.
