Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup mini pepperoni, divided
1/4 cup pizza sauce
1 French baguette
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
Stir in 3/4 cup of the mozzarella cheese, the Parmesan cheese, and half of the mini pepperoni into the cream cheese mixture.
Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Spoon the pizza sauce over the top of the cheese mixture. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese and the remaining mini pepperoni over the sauce.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
While the dip bakes, prepare the dippers. Slice the French baguette into 1-inch thick pieces on a slight diagonal.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
Brush the butter mixture evenly over both sides of the bread slices.
Place the bread slices on a baking sheet. Bake alongside the dip for the last 8 to 10 minutes of the dip’s cooking time, or until the bread is golden brown and crisp.
Remove the dip and bread from the oven. Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving hot with the garlic bread dippers.
Notes
For a spicier dip, add 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the cream cheese mixture.
You can use pre-shredded mozzarella, but freshly shredded cheese melts better.
Make the garlic butter mixture ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
If you prefer softer dippers, bake the bread for only 5 minutes.
