Make a refreshing, dairy-free iced latte at home using strong coffee, almond milk, and natural honey sweetness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong cold brew concentrate
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. If using honey directly, mix it with a splash of hot water or espresso to dissolve it completely, creating a thin syrup.
  2. Brew your espresso shots or prepare your cold brew concentrate. Let it cool slightly if using hot espresso.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the dissolved honey mixture over the ice.
  5. Add the almond milk to the glass.
  6. Slowly pour the cooled espresso or cold brew over the milk mixture.
  7. If using vanilla extract, add it now.
  8. Stir gently until all ingredients are combined.
  9. Taste and add more honey if you prefer it sweeter.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, use a handheld frother to briefly foam the almond milk before adding it to the glass.
  • If you prefer a less intense coffee flavor, use 1/4 cup cold brew concentrate and top the rest of the volume with cold water.
  • To make a honey simple syrup ahead of time, combine equal parts honey and water and heat until dissolved; let it cool before use.
  • You can substitute maple syrup for honey if desired.
