Ingredients
Scale
2 salmon fillets (about 5 oz each)
1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon dried dill
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 lemon, sliced
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Place the trimmed asparagus on one side of the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with half of the olive oil, and sprinkle with half of the salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
Place the salmon fillets on the other side of the baking sheet. Brush the tops with the remaining olive oil.
Sprinkle the salmon evenly with dill, garlic powder, and the remaining salt and pepper.
Place the lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the asparagus is tender-crisp.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Salmon provides high-quality protein and omega-3 fats, which support metabolism.
This meal is naturally low in carbohydrates, promoting stable blood sugar levels.
For a quick variation, substitute broccoli or green beans for asparagus.
