- 2 lbs crab legs (King or Snow), thawed
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges for serving
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- If using frozen crab legs, thaw them completely under cold running water or in the refrigerator overnight. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the garlic butter sauce.
- Arrange the crab legs in a single layer on a large baking sheet or in a shallow baking dish.
- Brush or spoon the garlic butter mixture generously over all surfaces of the crab legs.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the legs, until the crab meat is heated through and the sauce is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can briefly broil the crab legs for the last minute of cooking to slightly brown the garlic, watch carefully to prevent burning.
- If you prefer a spicier kick, add 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the butter mixture.
- Use high-quality fresh parsley for the best taste.
