Ingredients
Scale
4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil spray
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Pat the pork chops completely dry using paper towels. This helps achieve crispiness.
In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Rub this seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 5 minutes.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil. Place the seasoned pork chops in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they do not overlap. Work in batches if necessary.
Air fry for 10 minutes. Flip the pork chops and continue to cook for another 4 to 7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Cooking time depends on thickness.
While the pork chops finish cooking, prepare the garlic butter. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
Once the pork chops are cooked, immediately transfer them to a plate. Brush or spoon the warm garlic butter mixture generously over the top of each chop.
Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can lightly dust the seasoned chops with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch before oiling and air frying.
Use thick-cut pork chops (1 inch or more) for the best chance of a juicy interior.
If you do not have fresh parsley, you can use 1/2 teaspoon of dried parsley.
