Make easy, flavorful chicken tenders coated in a creamy, cheesy bacon mixture and bake them until golden brown.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken tenders
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, ranch seasoning mix, and heavy cream. Mix until completely smooth and combined.
  3. Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels. Toss the tenders with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
  4. Spread the seasoned tenders in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Spoon the cream cheese mixture evenly over the top of each chicken tender, spreading it to cover the surface.
  6. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit) and the topping is bubbly and lightly browned.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For crispier bacon, cook it in the oven or microwave before crumbling.
  • If you prefer a slightly crispier topping, you can briefly place the tenders under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • You can use chicken breast cut into tender-sized pieces instead of pre-cut tenders.
