Ingredients
Scale
2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
2 tablespoons cherry syrup
1 tablespoon vanilla syrup
1 cup ice cubes
Optional: Sweet cream topping
Instructions
Brew your espresso or strong coffee and allow it to cool slightly.
Fill a tall glass completely with ice cubes.
Pour the cherry syrup and vanilla syrup over the ice.
Add the milk to the glass.
Pour the cooled espresso or strong coffee over the milk and ice mixture.
Stir gently until all ingredients are combined.
If desired, top with sweet cream before serving.
Notes
Use a high-quality cherry syrup for the best flavor. Extracts or purees may require sugar adjustments.
If you do not have syrup, mix 1 teaspoon of cherry extract and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract with 1 tablespoon of sugar dissolved in a splash of hot water before adding to the ice.
For a sweeter drink, increase the syrup amounts to taste.
