Ingredients
Scale
1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup cooked, shredded chicken breast
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup Buffalo wing sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup blue cheese or ranch dressing (optional, for filling)
1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tablespoon melted butter (optional, for brushing)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, Buffalo wing sauce, mozzarella cheese, and optional dressing. Mix until the filling is fully combined and creamy.
Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Separate the dough into individual triangles.
Flatten each triangle slightly with your fingers or a rolling pin.
Place about 1 tablespoon of the Buffalo chicken mixture near the wide end of each dough triangle.
Roll the dough tightly from the wide end to the tip, enclosing the filling completely. Pinch the seams together to seal.
Place the rolled bites seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the tops of the rolls lightly with the beaten egg wash.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and puffed.
Remove from the oven and brush lightly with melted butter, if desired. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For an air fryer method, cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 10 minutes, checking halfway through.
You can prepare these ahead of time; cover and refrigerate for up to 12 hours before baking.
Serve immediately with extra ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
