A quick, energy-boosting smoothie featuring banana and peanut butter, perfect for breakfast or post-workout recovery.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large frozen banana, cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 3 ice cubes (optional, for extra thickness)

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen banana chunks, peanut butter, protein powder, almond milk, and chia seeds into your blender.
  2. Secure the lid and start blending on a low setting.
  3. Gradually increase the speed to high. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
  4. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more milk. If it is too thin, add the optional ice cubes and blend again.
  5. Pour immediately into a glass and serve.

Notes

  • For the thickest smoothie, always use frozen banana pieces.
  • You can substitute peanut butter with almond butter or sunflower seed butter.
  • To make this vegan, ensure your protein powder is plant-based.
  • Prepare smoothie packs by placing the banana, protein powder, and chia seeds into freezer bags ahead of time.
