Make quick, flavorful garlic knots using your air fryer. This recipe uses pre-made dough for fast results, yielding crispy knots with a soft center.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (13.8 ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Remove pizza dough from the can and let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes. Unroll the dough onto a clean surface.
  2. Cut the dough into 12 equal strips. Gently stretch each strip slightly, then twist it two or three times to form a knot shape. Place the knots on a plate.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
  4. Working in batches so you do not overcrowd the basket, place the knots in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook these in 2 or 3 batches depending on your air fryer size.
  5. Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping the knots halfway through cooking, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. While the knots cook, prepare the garlic butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  7. Once the knots are done, immediately transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the hot knots and toss gently to coat evenly.
  8. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the coated knots and toss once more. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • If your air fryer basket is small, you may need to cook the knots in three batches to ensure even crisping.
  • For extra flavor, add 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder to the melted butter mixture.
  • If you prefer a softer knot, reduce the air fryer temperature to 325°F (160°C) and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
